If it feels good, do it. That's how the saying goes. Many people associate that thinking with an evil way of life that must be stopped. You may know some people that are like that or you may be one of them. You know the type. At the mere mention of that phrase they produce a knee jerk reaction that goes something like "The world would be in a total state of chaos if everybody felt the same, there'd be anarchy." Usually the comments they produce aren't nearly as well spoken. To those people, and you can already tell I'm not one of them, "If it feels good, do it" to them seems to evoke images of all sorts of things they don't want to see happening.
I recently went on vacation and had to do a bit of flying so we had navigate through airport security to make sure I was not armed and dangerous. Step one was to check my ticket with my passport to make sure it matched. Step two was to take off my shoes, place them and my carry on luggage onto the belt so they can x-ray it and see what I have in there. Step three is walk through the metal detector myself so I can be checked for dangerous items.
Why does the rest of the world hate The United States? This could take a while to figure out, and even longer to cover all the variables. It can be summed up in a few simple points though. Of course, if you believe the drivel about people hating us because of our freedom, then you may as well quit reading now. That's a childish approach at best and one that a majority in this country seem to swallow up whole heartedly. Heaven forbid they should actually hate us for any VALID reasons. Open your mind, think for a change and follow me.
In this day and age of civil rights infringements, corrupt cops and corrupt politicians is it any wonder people are angry?
Yesterday, on my home from work, I was pacing a cop who was travelling his/her usual 90mph "what laws?" speed up the road. I saw the cop pull up behind somebody in the fast lane and tailgate them for several thousand yards before pulling over into the slow lane and passing them on the right to continue on their high speed drive home. The few, the special, the cops.
Once upon a time there was a playground in western Maryland that could be enjoyed by all. It was wonderful place full of wilderness and adventure. It was a good place to ride your mountain bike, your dirt bike, your horse, your 4 wheeler or just hike by foot. It was a place where everybody got along and shared the trails. It was a great place to go and spend an entire Sunday just enjoying the natural beauty of the terrain and the well maintained trails through the wilderness.
According to a press release by the AMA http://www.AMADirectlink.com/ the EPA is going to be cracking down on motorcycles. Not only are motorcycles currently the nations smallest producer of pollution, they are currently some of the most fuel efficient means of reliable transportation in this country. Leave it to big government. So how do they get away with it? They find a job that doesn't need doing and then convince the public that it's necessary. Divide and conquer. Take shots at smaller groups, clamp down on the little people, all in the name of the greater good. When will people learn.. ok.. rant over... onto the news.
From time to time we will have articles that are not related to pegs or monkeys in any way. Well, I guess politicians are closely related to monkeys....
Here's a rant from LesB
